Play On!
The Mt. Pleasant Farmer's Market was fantastic :-) We had a great time playing for the crowd AND the vendors! Thanks to Brian, John, and Andrew for coming out to say hello. Thanks to all the little kids for stopping and listening... It's a good thing they *probably* didn't get the lyrics. Violence and Distracted are awfully awkward to play for the 3 year old fan base. Also, thanks to the several new friends who stopped to listen to more than one song - we hope to see you out again soon.
As for the parents of all those tots, we're playing another show in just a couple weeks! We're at Velvet Lounge on July 10th. We'll see you there, along with East Ghost and Brian Wheat.

Food + Wise Old Lions = Good Time
We're always looking for an excuse to eat and practice at the same time. That's how we're looking at a gig we've got this Saturday, June 25th. We'll be street-performing at the Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market from 9am - 11am. Some highlights to look forward to:
* Michael in a dress (I wish!)
Seriously though...
* All of our favorite originals, and a new instrumental piece, "This Is The End," you probably haven't heard
* A bunch of covers, full band AND solo
* Our lovely faces all up in your face
* Delicious local groceries and prepared foods. If you haven't had a Pleasant Pop, you haven't yet lived! I'm looking forward to trying the Strawberry Ginger Lemonade flavor, yummm...
So yeah. See you there! It's at the corner of Mt. Pleasant and Lamont Streets NW.
Love,
Becca
